Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY (CURWAIN) SCHERMERHORN Beloved wife of Mel Schermerhorn passed away peacefully at age 88 at Beacon Hill Lodge after a lengthy illness on August 23, 2000. She was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Lucy; three sisters and five brothers. Dorothy loved music and sang in St. Lukes Church Choir for 20 years. She will be sadly missed by her husband Mel; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Cremation has taken place according to her wishes. Remembrance service will be held at Kerrs Funeral Chapel, 120 Adelaide St. on Monday, August 28 at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
